What are the benefits of using wooden boxes for exporting products, what are the requirements for wood, and why is it necessary to do so?

The benefits of using wooden boxes for exporting products include:

1. Protection of products: Wooden boxes can provide better protection and prevent products from being damaged during transportation.

2. Convenient handling: Wooden boxes can be equipped with handles and wheels, making it easier for handlers to move them.

3. Moisture and shock resistance: Wooden boxes can resist moisture and shock, ensuring the quality of the products.

4. Convenient storage: Wooden boxes can be stacked, saving storage space.

The requirements for wood include:

1. The wood should be dry and free of cracks and rot.

2. The wood should be hard and not easily damaged.

3. The wood should be harmless and free of chemicals that are harmful to humans.

Why is it necessary to do so?

Exported products need to be transported for a long time and are easily affected by factors such as vibration, humidity, and temperature, so it is necessary to use wooden boxes for packaging to ensure the safety and quality of the products during transportation. At the same time, wooden boxes are also convenient for handling and storage, reducing transportation costs.

At the same time, our wood material is also strict

Are there any tests or certificates for wood?

Yes, for exported wooden packaging boxes, wood testing and obtaining corresponding certificates are usually required. Here are some common wood tests and certificates:

1. Wood testing: This includes testing the moisture, density, strength, decay, insect infestation, and other indicators of wood to ensure that the wood meets export standards.

2. Fumigation Certificate: Exported wooden packaging boxes need to undergo fumigation treatment to kill any harmful organisms that may be present. After fumigation, a corresponding fumigation certificate is required to prove that the wooden box has been fumigated.

3. Phytosanitary Certificate: This certificate is used to prove that the exported wooden packaging boxes have passed plant health inspections and comply with relevant standards and regulations in the destination country.

4. ISPM15 Certificate: Exported wooden packaging boxes need to comply with the international standard ISPM15 and obtain the corresponding ISPM15 certificate to prove that the wooden box meets international standard requirements.

Note: ISPM15 is a standard under the International Plant Protection Convention, which stipulates that wooden packaging materials need to be fumigated and meet certain standard requirements to prevent the spread of harmful organisms.
